TF47
The TF47 is a large-diaphragm, multi-pattern tube condenser microphone inspired by the classic German microphone sound associated with designs such as the U47 and M49. Its full low end, forward midrange and smooth top end add weight and presence while keeping detail intact, making it especially effective on vocals, piano, drums, trombone, bass and cello.
Circuit Design
The TF47 uses a TELEFUNKEN TK47 K47-style center-terminated large-diaphragm capsule, a NOS Philips/Raytheon 5840W vacuum tube and a custom TELEFUNKEN BV8 output transformer. Together these components produce a warm, punchy response with strong low-frequency body, present mids and smooth high-frequency articulation.
