In 2019, ScaleNordic was founded by an experienced group of long-standing music industry professionals whose collective goal was to create the highest-quality audio speakers and cable products possible, with pricing accessible to all. Excellence does not have to be expensive if you know exactly which materials to source, where to source them, and how to design each product detail. Our team conducted an exhaustive and comprehensive global search for partner factories that met the standards and possessed the experience required to meet our stringent requirements.
The full realization of ScaleNordic has only been possible due to our years of technical expertise, the valuable feedback from our loyal customers, and our securing of the right class of manufacturing facilities. Our Journey
ScaleNordic AS was established in Norway in 2019 by Robert Storm Olsen and Frode Skinstad. The company specializes in the distribution of high-quality musical instruments and professional audio equipment across the Nordic region. We work exclusively with authorized manufacturers to ensure that every product we offer meets the highest standards of performance and durability.
In 2025, we expanded our reach by founding ScaleNordic SL in Spain. This strategic move enables us to enhance our sales within the EU and serve a significantly larger market.
Our Founders
Frode Skinstad brings over 25 years of industry experience, with a background in electronics and audio-visual production. His career spans various roles, from technician and musician to sales positions in both the musical instrument and professional audio sectors. Frode’s deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience are key to ScaleNordic’s commitment to quality.
Robert Storm Olsen, a music producer since 1990, founded Procom Music in 1996, a company that became a leading force in the Norwegian music industry until 2021. Initially a pro audio and musical instrument store, Procom later shifted its focus to distribution. This transition laid the foundation for the creation of ScaleNordic, which has since established itself as a trusted name within the audio sector.
