The Source Audio Ultrawave Distortion combines multiband distortion, compression, tremolo, morphing and advanced stereo processing in a single pedal. Its multiband architecture offers 37 band-splitting configurations using 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 or 10 frequency bands.
The pedal includes 44 distortion types, including Tube, Diode, Foldback, Negative Flip Diode and Octave Up. A dual-channel compressor/expander can be positioned before or after the drive section, while Multiband Tremolo provides individual control of depth, rate and start time for each frequency band.
Neuro 3 Desktop Editor and Mobile App provide detailed editing, preset storage and access to the Neuro Community. Morphing allows smooth transitions between sounds using an expression pedal, envelope follower or LFO, while the stereo architecture supports series, parallel and split-output processing.
Ultrawave vs. Ultrawave Bass:
The two pedals use the same Neuro 3 editing platform and can share presets. The standard Ultrawave uses a Sustain knob and guitar-focused factory presets, while Ultrawave Bass uses a Mix knob by default and includes bass-focused presets.
