Miktek PM10 - Snare/Tom Microphone:
Sound engineers and producers in Nashville (where Miktek is produced) have been talking about the new supercardioid dynamic PM10 for months – a fantastic microphone for snare drums. We can also confirm it works brilliantly on toms. With the PM series, Miktek has used technology from their renowned studio microphones and produced great microphones built for touring. The PM10 sounds tight and punchy and works well on several instruments with high SPL. If you are looking for a solidly built, high-quality dynamic microphone – look no further: Miktek PM10.
Miktek PM10 Features:
- Optimized for snare drum and tom
- Dynamic
- Supercardioid
- Neodymium element for higher sound pressure levels
- Robust construction built to withstand use, not only in the studio but also on the road
Miktek PM11 - Solid Bass Drum Microphone:
Most microphones built for bass drums come with an EQ curve shaped according to the manufacturer’s ideal. This means the drum sound largely comes from the microphone rather than the drum itself. As a result, the drum sound will often be very similar regardless of which drum it captures. Miktek PM11 has chosen a different approach. Although the PM11 is built for bass drums/bass instruments, it has a much less factory-formed “sound.” With plenty of meat, weight, punch, and dynamics, the PM11 is an excellent microphone for those who want a lively microphone that accurately reproduces the quality of the instrument. You can shape the sound yourself, and it works brilliantly on bass cabinets and other sources where low frequencies are important.
Miktek PM11 Features:
- Dynamic
- Plenty of punch and full low end
- Smooth and neutral sound
- Solidly built
