Fluid Audio DS8 desktop stands for 7” and 8” studio speakers. They lift your monitors to two selectable heights: 6 cm and 13 cm. The stands feature rubber feet that acoustically isolate the speakers from the surface they rest on, and offer three possible tilt angles: flat, 3-degree tilt, and 6-degree tilt. Raising the speakers to ear level (with the tweeter in line with the ear) provides improved listening. The stands are constructed from MDF, which offers excellent acoustic damping. The posts are made from polypropylene, which minimizes the “ringing” often caused by ABS plastic. Both the top and feet of the stands are made of highly absorbent 40 durometer* rubber. The result of using Fluid Audio desktop stands is optimal listening position, reduced harmonic distortion in midrange frequencies, and a cleaner, more open sound. *(measurement unit for material hardness)
