The Alctron CS85 is a versatile studio condenser microphone built around a large 34 mm gold-plated diaphragm. It is designed to deliver a clear, natural sound and can be adapted to different recording tasks with three selectable polar patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8.
A 10 dB pad and 100 Hz filter provide additional control when recording louder sources or managing low-frequency content. The CS85 is suitable for vocals, cymbals, guitar and bass amplifiers, brass instruments and other studio sources.
