Vovox® Mucolink Direct SD is a 1-meter-long asymmetric, shielded digital multipair cable with DB25 connectors on both ends. The cable is optimized for AES/EBU transmission with an impedance of 110 Ohms.
The Vovox® Mucolink Direct SD combines eight balanced, unshielded cables into one multipair cable without compromise. If the result were not so convincing, this special cable would not exist: its assembly is extremely complex and requires a great deal of expertise. It is an outstanding example of renowned Swiss manufacturing, ensuring perfect sound quality for recording and mastering studios. The pre-assembled version is available with DB25, XLR female, and XLR male connectors in any combination.
VOVOX® Link is the original development of the manufacturer. This is the cable that has been available since the VOVOX brand was established. The goal during the creation of this product line was clear: to achieve lossless signal transmission in the best possible way.
VOVOX® Link cables feature a silver-plated copper core. The conductor is made of pure, solid, silver-plated copper, sealed off from oxygen to prevent corrosion. The ground wire is of the same high quality as the signal conductor. The highest quality is ensured by high-purity, high-tech plastics, a production process free of plasticizers, color pigments, and PVC, and an increased distance between conductors. The exterior is covered with a fine fabric woven from natural fibers. Link cables come with a black outer jacket, which may also feature gray or blue markings depending on the cable type.
